Transform the classroom.
YoungLeaders.World’s in-school conferences include a full day of personal leadership training for students. Powerful speakers, live music, and video content create a BIG energy that characterizes the day. Time for reflection for students personalizes the lessons to their own lives and keeps students thinking long after the conference.
Each conference is facilitated through the YoungLeaders.World pillars: Mission, Values, Strengths, Barriers, and Vision and includes a speaker for each pillar.

Why personal leadership?
Too often, schools describe leadership as organizing things like orientation week, school dances, and graduation, suggesting that leadership is only something for students who plan events.
We disagree.
We know that all students exhibit leadership in different ways.
Displaying leadership in one’s own life can be as simple as deciding to set up an extra 15 minutes per day to study to get honours next semester. It could be deciding to start exercising and eating healthy. It could be choosing to value in-person connections over social media.

Leadership is setting a goal and taking the steps to get there.
And the goal for all of your students should be their own: not informed by others, individual.
Personal leadership. This is essential for all students.
Personal leadership is what is going to get students through tough times, help them navigate their future and be proactive in creating a great life for themselves and their community.
Everyone is going to have to exercise personal leadership in their lives, but not everyone recognizes that personal leadership is a skill that needs to be learned and practiced.
